"Haaving travelled fairly extensively through Eurpe we thought that this was the best so far. Have recommended it to others."
Review by Alan Paterson from Scotland, UK who visited the city in June 2005 as a couple without children.

The best part:
The Chain Bridge festival which took place on Sat 18/06. The whole day was great and the entertainment was excellent. All stalls including refreshment and food were all fairly priced and did not try to rip you off.

The worst part:
Trying to get public transport when leaving restaurants and bars after 23.00 hrs. resulting in a long walk home. Had been advised to be wary of taxis. Graffiti on bridges and public buildings a bit disappointing

The best attraction:
Parliament Building tour

The worst attraction:
Margaret Island a lot of litter on the day we visited

The best restaurant:
Kacsa pricey, but good food, service and music

The worst restaurant:
did not experience any

The best cafe:
Fat Mo's had good entertainment and excellent food.

The worst cafe:
none

Driving in Budapest - the road signs are small and up high on buildings or nonexistent.

The best attraction:
They're all good.

The best restaurant:
On Victor Hugo Utca - not Trofeo...
