European Tourist Office - Public Internet Access points - Internet Cafes

Internet Cafes

Email is popular and can easily be accessed almost anywhere in Europe. You may want to take advantage of free web-based email accounts offered by sites such as www.hotmail.com or www.yahoo.com which are convenient but have a size limitation and are prone to spam.

All throughout Europe, you can find public Internet access points, whether as free-standing kiosks on the street, as internet cafes or as a service offered by convenient stores, hotels or public libraries. A list of to those access points can be found at any city's tourist information office and we listed the main ones in capital city. You can also visit those 2 websites for more information: www.cybercaptive.com and www.netcafeguide.com

Rates vary from countries to countries but expect a range of 5 to 15 euros an hour. Note that most public libraries in large cities offer internet access for free but the wait is usually long.
