Facilities: The real beauty of the place can be seen in the massive beams of the dining room and in the mellow brick vaults of the wine cellar. There's a plank-covered wharf where parasols shield diners from the midday sun. The cuisine features well-prepared Bavarian and continental dishes. Down-on-the-farm menu items include medallions of veal in a mushroom-flavored cream sauce, with fresh vegetables; rack of venison; roasted goose with black-currant dressing; and fish selections that usually include sole and halibut. Meals are served Monday to Saturday from noon to 2pm and 6 to 10pm, and the location is 6 miles west of the Marienplatz.
