TIME ZONES IN EUROPE
 

The following map shows the different European time zones which are as follows:

  • Iceland maintains GMT all year long (does not switch to Daylight Saving Time),
  • Great Britain, Ireland, Portugal are on GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) in the winter - from last Sunday in October at 2:00 AM to last Sunday in March at 2:00 AM. They are on BST (British Summer Time) which is GMT +1 in the Summer - from last Sunday of March at 2:00 AM to last Sunday in October at 2:00 AM.
  • The countries at GMT +1 are: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Germany, The Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belgium, France, Spain, Monaco, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania, Macedonia and Malta. They're part of the Central European Time (CET) in the winter and Central European Summer Time (CEST) otherwise.
  • At GMT +2, known as Eastern European Time (and Eastern European Summer Time - GMT+3), we have the following 12 countries: Belarus, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Russia - Kaliningrad, Turkey and Ukraine.
  • Russia is the only European country at GMT+3 in its western time zone. European Time Zones
